Tyler is looking at her very focused. She looks right back at him that same way. She's told plenty of people about herself in more or less rushed ways, but only since arriving at the hotel. Never back home. The look she has for him definitely isn't a look of scrutiny or judgement. Understanding, really, though that's probably difficult for him to read on her.
Takes a moment to really click. Marina hasn't met anybody like her in this way. Marina doesn't even know the word trans, it wasn't in the vocabulary of her world and time period. Sure, she always presumed others like her must exist, but people didn't talk about it. Not in her whole life has she met another trans person and known that about them, at least. There's a sudden washing over of her to really, truly find out she's not alone.
