There's a moment where Tyler's jaw tightens and despite everything else going on in his body right now, he feels overcome with emotion. Marina's arms around him, holding him in a way he didn't realize he needs holding - it's all a lot to deal with in a moment he's wildly underprepared for.

It's mostly Marina's follow up questions that pull him back to rails he momentarily falls off of, the words not really making a lot of sense to a guy who's from a world without magic, as far as he knows. What he can do with Alyson doesn't really feel like magic, just is the nature of being a twin.

"A... what? What's a Changeling Soul?" So... probably not, all things considered. This whole situation is turning more bizarre than he could have guessed.
